Good day, on the original X-Men #7 (Blob cover) there is what appears to be a set or tip of wings coming out of the X in the X-Men logo. It's similar to Angels wings on issue #3, but obviously different. Is there any significance to that, and why is it there?
It’s the same wingtip as on a previous issue of X-MEN—likely they statted the logo from that cover and just missed the little piece of wing on it.
I recently reblogged a photo of an African-American gentleman surrounded by several comics. Is it Billy Graham? I don't think I've seen a photo of him. Also, do you have any idea about the origins of the photo? (I can't link you in a question or I would.)
I don’t believe that’s artist Billy Graham. That photo came from an article about comics as an instructional learning tool, so it’s probably a photo of the guy who came up with this particular program back in the 70s. I picked it up from the “Hey Kids, Comics!” blog.
