The Marvel Age of Comics
WALLY WOOD in original 1966 Marvel cartoons

Surely this is the highest level of WALLY WOOD in any of this 1966 series.
“The Bitter Taste of Defeat” is Part 1 of 3 based upon Avengers #21 & 22, Oct & Nov 1965 by Stan Lee, Don Heck & wondrous WALLY WOOD!
Other than his award-winning Alka Seltzer “Stomachs Get Even At Night” commercial, and his influence on Bakshi’s Wizards, this is likely the highest level of Wood content in an animated feature. If only they had adapted his masterpiece… Daredevil - Sub Mariner story from DD #7!!!!!
