A page from THOR #159 by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta.
One partial border note from Kirby remains:
AND GATES OF ASGARD OPEN TO HIM
And there’s an art correction request at the top from Stan:
MAKE MORE LIKE HAMMER HEAD

The final page of DAREDEVIL #4 by Joe Orlando and Vince Colletta.
Joe only did a few jobs for Marvel. Years later, he told me that the reason was that he wound up doing far too many corrections, as Stan would change his mind or want the story to go in a different direction after pages had been drawn. The Marvel approach of Plot-Art-Dialogue wasn’t for everyone.
A page from the Thor story in JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #124, focusing on Hercules.Art is by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta. Enough of the pencils are still apparent that you can make out a few places where Colletta simplified what Kirby had done.
A few of Jack Kirby’s border notes still remain:
IT’S HERCULES IN COMBAT WITH ATLAS AND ZEUS BREAKS IT UP.
ZEUS SAYS ENOUGH OF THIS
There’s also a note, likely written in by production man Sol Brodsky, to colorist Stan Goldberg:
STAN G: ZEUS—RED HAIR AND BEARD.
A page from THOR #176 by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta.
A few fragments of Kirby’s border notes remain:
OF FIRE
SURTUR (words missing) RISES—
ODIN HAD ME
A page from the Tales of Asgard back-up from THOR #142 by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta.
Fragments of Kirby’s border notes remain:
MEANS TO THROW OFF MOGUL’S YOKE!
IS SULIBEG—HE SAYS HE HAS MIXED POTION ON MOGUL’S ORDERS
ALL (word missing) THE GIFT TO HOGUN’S OWN
HOGUN LAUGHS—SHALL I TRY A
A page from THOR #134 by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta. Some of Kirby’s border notes remain legible here:
HE SUBJECTS WOLF TO MAXIMUM-MILLENNIAL-PROGRESSION—THE PROCESS OF SPEEDING UP EVOLUTION—WOLF’S BODY STRUCTURE IS NOW LOSING STATIC TORSION
WOLF’S BODY IS BEGINNING TO ACHIEVE TEMPORAL MOTION
GENES RESHIFTING
The famous letter that inker Vince Colletta sent to assorted folks up at Marvel in 1987 after then-EIC Jim Shooter was let go.
Another somebody asked about old Millie the Model or Patsy Walker pages. The closest thing I’ve got is this page from LOVE ROMANCES #96 by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta.
On this page from FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #3, whether due to Vince Colletta’s inks being even more sparse than usual, or the fact that Jack Kirby was never quite able to wrap his head around Steve Ditko’s Spider-Man costume and physicality, Stan had a stat of an earlier Ditko figure from an issue of AMAZING SPIDEY dropped into Panel 4 to replace the original figure, seen in the first image.
Two very minor fragments of Jack Kirby’s original border notes remain at the top. They say:
HAWKEYE (portion missing) THEM WHEN SORCERESS GESTURES
INJURE HAWKEYE
And one on the left side:
CAPTURE SAFE BEFORE IT HITS
